Overview

Our refund and return policy is valid for 30 days from the date of delivery. After this period, we are unable to process refunds or exchanges. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and in the original packaging. Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers, magazines, single use items, gift cards, and downloadable content cannot be returned.

Due to health and safety regulations, we cannot accept returns on perishable goods such as food items. Additionally, digital content and gift cards are non-returnable due to their nature.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer. We will provide you the address for the appropriate return center or a prepaid shipping label on qualifying returns.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:

Book(s) with obvious signs of use may only receive a partial refund or no refund depending on the case. Items that are damaged, missing parts, or not in their original condition due to customer misuse may only qualify for a partial refund or no refund depending on the case. Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery may only qualify for a partial refund or no refund depending on the case. Customers must obtain return authorization before sending back any item(s).

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund and any deductions from the refund amount. (If any)

Once approved, refunds will be processed within 5 business days. Please note that while we process refunds within 5 business days, your financial institution may take additional time to reflect the funds in your account.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your card/payment processor or bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted through your financial institution.

Sale items

Discounted or sale items are final sale and cannot be refunded. However, store credit may be issued in certain cases.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at support@sourdoughresource.com.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once we receive the returned item, we will issue a gift certificate either via mail or email, based on your preference. Please inform us of your choice during the return process.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.

Shipping returns

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to a mistake on our end (e.g., wrong item sent, defective product). Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund unless paid in advance.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We have no way to guarantee that we will receive your returned item due to the nature of, and companies involved in the shipping process.
